Oh, how I love fresh cranberry season. I’m adding them to almost everything! Salads, mashed on toast, warmed with cinnamon and sliced persimmons, bean and winter squash chili… and today my breakfast smoothie.
Veggies are a bonus at breakfast, and I try to get at least 1 serving of a veggie each morning. Today it was 3 servings! 2 huge handfuls of the Spring Mix baby greens and frozen cauliflower.
I also always add a plant-based, nutrient rich source of Omega-3’s. Usually it’s ground flaxseed, ground chia seed, hemp seeds or walnuts. These are our very best sources!
